Scarborough, Tobago, December 20, 2025 – The Rising Super Stars Phoenix Youth & Sports Club recently hosted its highly anticipated Annual Athlete Awards Ceremony, celebrating a year of exceptional achievements in track and field.

Delivering the Feature Address was the esteemed Executive Chairman of KEM Advisory Services Solutions Limited, Mr. Kieron McDougall, who delivered an uplifting and motivating message aligned to the event theme, “Pursuit of Greatness.”

Speaking to an audience of athletes, parents, coaches, administrators, and supporters, Mr. McDougall praised the Club’s remarkable track record. He highlighted the Club four consecutive double titles at the NAAA Juvenile and Junior Championships, the selection of 19 athletes and two coaches for national representation, and the prestigious achievement of eight NAAA Athlete of the Year awards within the last three years. He described the Club as “a powerhouse, a family, and a factory of greatness.”

Mr. McDougall emphasized that greatness is not an event but a continuous journey shaped by discipline, perseverance, and character. “Greatness is not a finish line, it is the courage to rise, run, and strive again every single day,” he stated, reminding the athletes that true success is forged in the unseen moments of training, sacrifice, and determination.

Drawing inspiration from the Club’s symbolic name, he commended the “Phoenix spirit” of rising stronger after challenges. He encouraged athletes to embrace setbacks as stepping stones and to recognize their journey as one that extends far beyond the track. “You are learning lessons that will make you unstoppable, not only in sport, but in life,” he said.

The address also acknowledged the essential roles of parents, guardians, and coaches. Mr. McDougall applauded the unwavering support systems that fuel the Club’s success and congratulated Mr. Kern Thom and by extension the coaching team for shaping young athletes of national calibre.

In conclusion, Mr. McDougall charged the Rising Super Stars Phoenix athletes to continue striving for excellence. “Keep lifting each other up. Keep winning with integrity. Keep losing with grace. And most importantly, keep pursuing greatness with everything inside you,” he urged, affirming that Tobago’s future in athletics shines brightly through their dedication and potential.

The ceremony closed with the presentation of awards honouring the outstanding performances and contributions of the Club’s athletes and staff for the year.
